Privacy Policy: Update April 2026

We have updated our Privacy Policy as of April 14, 2026. 

Here is a summary of the most important changes:

  • We have made the categories of your data that we process clearer and easier to understand as well as added new data recipient categories.
  • We have described new optional processing activities: our AI-aided Bonsy Assistant and user interviews.
  • We have explained the differences between unregistered and registered accounts.

Your rights – such as the right to access, data erasure, or the withdrawal of consent/objection to certain processing – remain unchanged.

Privacy Policy: Update February 2026

We have updated our Privacy Policy as of February 3, 2026. 

Here is a summary of the most important changes:

  • We have made the categories of your data that we process clearer and easier to understand.
  • We have provided more transparent descriptions of how your data is processed during various voluntary surveys and personalized communications.
  • We have added details regarding the processing of your data for market research purposes by us and (in anonymized form) by third parties – specifically clarifying when this is based on your consent and when it is based on our legitimate interests.

Terms and Conditions: Update February 2026

We have updated several provisions in our Terms and Conditions:

  • App Usage: We have clarified that only uploaded invoices will be processed. Any additional data you upload that is not required will not be processed (“unsolicited data”).
  • Term, Termination, and Suspension: We have added a provision that allows us to delete your user account after 36 months of inactivity or suspension, including details on how we will notify you in advance.
  • Future Amendments to Terms and Conditions: We have updated how we will notify you of future changes (via the app only) and have removed the formal objection period. In the future, if you do not agree to the changes, you will no longer be able to use the app.
